I was always a bit of a creative minded person when it came to media and general narratives, though I never thought I'd end up being an artist, especially using that title to get through my profession.

It was just three years ago I was picking up the basics of After Effects and Photoshop in high school on my Interactive Media, along with my other three courses, Music, Music Technology and Drama. My drama GCSE scored me a small time job as an actor for an up-coming comedy series called "The Workplace" - An independent media project parodying the popular series "The Office." The Written, directed, and filmed by Chris Harrison, a British young director hoping to make it large in the media industry.

Interactive media was hard for me in high school, and really made me doubt myself in many ways, however I got through it and really hit it off with my college, after I went to the open day and impressed them with my extensive, however basic and amateur looking portfolio. Regardless of my terrible looking portfolio of failed film posters, and badly edited film trailers, the College took me on, and my creativity flourished.

I took a single course, called "The Extended Diploma in Interactive Media and Photography" However we call it IMP's for short. It is a BTEC, and will gain me 4 A levels.

I am almost a year in, and my Vimeo page has filled up with alternative design, minimalistic design, experimental, and standard Motion Graphic design. My off-line, physical portfolio consists of canvas prints, hand-drawn or painted work, development logs of my digital work, and artist research.

I use Adobe After Effects primarily, but I sometimes delve into Illustrator, or Photoshop to create assets for motion graphics. I also use InDesign religiously to document my work and create digital magazines, which is really fun to do.

I currently work freelance, hoping to score a job at Asylum, in London - A creative agency who have developed hundreds of television adverts and media for both the music industry, and the web.

I love what I do, passionately, and I feel I have a massive future ahead of me.

Thank you and goodnight
